From the M4:

Leave the M4 at junction 24 (Newport) and take the A449 towards (but not as far as) Monmouth.

Leave the A449 at Raglan and follow signs to Abergavenny via the A40 - (this road is notorious for speed cameras so watch your speed).

Drive through Abergavenny, following signs to Crickhowell and Brecon.

Drive through Crickhowell and continue on the A40 towards Brecon via Bwlch.

On leaving Bwlch continue on the A40 and after a couple of minutes drive watch out for a sign to Talybont on Usk.

Take a left turn down the slip road and then turn left over the river and follow the straight road (Station Road) as far as the T-Junction.

Turn right at the T-Junction into Talybont Village.

Pass the White Hart and the Star Inn on your left-hand side and Talybont Stores a little further along on on your right.

Turn left immediately after Taybont Stores up a steep hill to the canal bridge.

Cross over the canal and follow the winding road for about 1.5 miles to 'Aber' village which is signposted. Slow down at this point.

Go down the hill and immediately after a small stone bridge you will see a lane between two houses on your left hand side.

Drive down this lane - go slowly to avoid bumping into the stone wall - Ty Watton is about 100 yards down on your left.
